Abbaye aux Dames-Jeune Orchestre Atlantique

5.1 Km from our house

The association l'Abbaye aux Dames is a place of artistic production of international reference. It designs and organizes the Saintes Festival and offers various musical training courses for young musicians, professionals or those in training, a course in the interpretation of the classical and romantic repertoire on period instruments. This training in instrumental technique allows to explore and deepen a vast repertoire within an atypical orchestra: the Jeune Orchestre Atlantique. Musicians have the choice between two formulas: to follow various courses "à la carte" or to follow the "Formation supérieure", a complete and diploma course. The courses are structured around work sessions of 5 to 15 days, which deal with the work by lectern (winds, percussions, romantic piano, string quartet...), chamber music and the orchestral repertoire (chamber, symphonic...).
